Having awarded a management and operation mandate to Desjardins Business Capital régional et coopératif, CRCD itself has no staff, as all resources are employed by our manager. That being said, under our incorporating act, CRCD must appoint a General Manager, whose duties are established by the Board of Directors.

The duties of CRCD’s General Manager are outlined as follows:

To be the touch point for CRCD’s manager

  • Validate service quality on a regular basis
  • Validate the quality of internal controls
  • Oversee compliance with the management agreement binding Desjardins Business Capital régional et coopératif and CRCD

To oversee performance and assessment

  • Negotiate the terms and conditions of the management agreement
  • To ensure external benchmarking
  • To set service levels
  • To measure performance


To make reports

  • To review the financial analysis of CRCD as prepared by our manager and report on it to CRCD’s board of directors on a semi-annual basis
  • To sign the evaluation attestation for investments impacting the Québec economy on a semi-annual basis
  • To report to shareholders at the annual general meeting of CRCD
