Having awarded a management and operation mandate to Desjardins Capital, CRCD itself has no staff, as all resources are employed by our manager. That being said, under our incorporating act, CRCD must appoint a General Manager, whose duties are established by the Board of Directors.

The duties of CRCD’s General Manager are outlined as follows:

To be the touch point for CRCD’s manager

  • Validate service quality on a regular basis
  • Validate the quality of internal controls
  • Oversee compliance with the management agreement binding Desjardins Capital and CRCD

To oversee performance and assessment

  • Negotiate the terms and conditions of the management agreement
  • To ensure external benchmarking
  • To set service levels
  • To measure performance


To make reports

  • To review the financial analysis of CRCD as prepared by our manager and report on it to CRCD’s board of directors on a semi-annual basis
  • To sign the evaluation attestation for investments impacting the Québec economy on a semi-annual basis
  • To report to shareholders at the annual general meeting of CRCD
